Starting a business is an exciting journey, and choosing the right structure is the first major step toward success. For many entrepreneurs, especially non-US residents and online business owners, a Wyoming LLC is the gold standard. It offers privacy, low fees, and a business-friendly environment that is hard to beat. However, navigating the formation process can feel overwhelming if you do not know where to start. This guide removes the confusion and walks you through the exact process of registering your Wyoming LLC online from anywhere in the world.
Watch the complete step by step tutorial below before starting your Wyoming LLC formation online. This video shows the exact process for both U.S. residents and non-U.S. entrepreneurs registering a Wyoming LLC from anywhere in the world.
A Personal Note from the Founder: “I am a non-US resident just like you. I spent years looking for a trustworthy partner and tested four different companies for myself and my clients. I ultimately chose Registered Agents Inc for my own businesses. In my experience, they were the only provider that gave me a clear, flat rate with no monthly fees for a business address. I still use them today for my annual compliance because the process is headache-free. I wrote this guide to save you the time and stress I went through.”
Why I Avoid “$0” Filing Services: You will often see ads for “$0 Entry Fees.” Be careful. In my experience, these low starting prices often lead to higher costs later, such as recurring subscriptions for essential documents or monthly fees for a business address.
Step 1: Start the Registration Process
To begin, click here to open the official application portal.

- Company Name: Type in your desired Company Name here (for example, “Can Global LLC”)
- State: Select Wyoming. This ensures you are filing in the correct jurisdiction.
- Type of Business: Select LLC here.
- Lawsuit Copies: Simply select No (unless you have a specific legal reason otherwise).

- Business Purpose: Here you need to provide a brief description of what your business does.
- Physical Address: If you do not have an address in Wyoming or want to keep your home address private, select “Our Registered Agent Address.” Otherwise you may select “Your Mailing Address.”
- Management Type: Select Member-Managed if you (the owner) will run the business, or Manager-Managed if you will hire someone else to run it.
- Member Name: Enter the First and Last Name of the owner (Member)
- And click “Continue”.
Step 2: Add Business Phone and Additional Items

- Phone Service ($5/month): If you want a US business phone number then you can add the Phone Service option here for a small fee.
- Optional: And if you need a domain name or website, you can select those options here, but they are optional.
- Now click “Continue”.
Step 3: Contact Information and Create Login Credentials

- Contact Information: Now you must provide your Contact Info. This information is kept private and is only used by the registered agent to contact you. Enter your First Name and Last Name. In the phone number field, enter your own country’s phone number. Under the “Country” dropdown, select your actual country of residence (for example, Germany). Enter your Home Address exactly as it appears on your government-issued ID or passport.

- Create an Account: Enter a valid Email Address that you check frequently, as this is where your official documents will be sent. Create a strong, secure password. Make sure to save these login details immediately, as you will need them to access your dashboard and retrieve your LLC documents later.
- Click Continue when you are ready.
Step 4: Payment Details

- Billing Details: Here, you will enter the details of your credit/debit card.
- And click Submit Order.
Step 5: Review Information & Add EIN or TAX ID

- After your payment is processed, you will be automatically redirected to your user dashboard. Take a moment to verify that your business name and address are listed correctly. You may see an option to add an EIN (Tax ID) to your order. Or you can choose to apply for the EIN yourself directly with the IRS later.
- Click Continue to finalize the setup.
Step 6: Final Submission

- Review your details one last time and click Submit Order. The Registered Agent team will immediately begin processing your filing with the Wyoming Secretary of State. In most cases, your LLC will be officially formed within 1-4 business days. If you ordered an EIN service, the process to obtain that from the IRS will begin once the LLC is approved.
Step 7: Dashboard Home Page

- Your personal dashboard is the command center for your business. It is a clean, easy-to-navigate interface where you can see the status of your order. You will see sections for your active services, billing history, and messages from your registered agent. You should bookmark this page so you can easily check for updates.
Step 8: Documents Page

When Wyoming approves your LLC, you will receive an email. Log back into your dashboard and click the “Documents” tab. You will find:
-
Articles of Organization: The official birth certificate of your company.
-
Operating Agreement: An internal document defining how your company is run (Banks like Mercury may ask for this).
-
EIN Letter: (Once processed by the IRS) This is the “Golden Ticket” you need to apply for Stripe and Bank Accounts.
Next Steps for Your New LLC:
Congratulations! You have successfully formed a US company from the comfort of your home.
-
Wait for the EIN: This can take a few business days depending on the IRS backlog for non-residents. Though the IRS’s official timeframe is only 1-4 business days. But for the US citizens or residents it will take only 1 business day as you have your own SSN/ITIN.
-
Open a Bank Account: Use your new LLC documents and EIN to apply for a business account. For non-residents, I highly recommend Mercury Bank because they allow remote opening.
-
Set Up Payments: Connect your US bank account to Stripe or Amazon Seller Central or Any Particular Platform You Want to start accepting payments globally.
- Build Your Website: For a fast AI-powered website builder that works great for US businesses, I recommend Hostinger. They also provide quality web hosting and .com domains.
